Lauren + Bradley’s Wedding Was Basically a Concert (and We Were Obsessed)

Let’s set the scene: you’re getting married at one of Chicago’s most iconic music venues, The bride and florist went full mad genius with floating florals, your vows made everyone cry (yes, even us), and then you stage dive into your own wedding reception to the sound of My Chemical Romance. On the hottest day in June of 2025

Yeah. That actually happened.

Lauren + Bradley’s Thalia Hall wedding was part glam, part heartfelt, and part pop-punk fever dream—and we were here for every wild, candlelit, flower-drenched, eyeliner-smudged second.

The Morning: Hair, Nerves & 14 Dudes in One Apartment

We kicked things off with the girls, and wow—Glam Atelier absolutely crushed hair and makeup. Every bridesmaid looked like they just stepped out of a magazine shoot. Lauren had this buzz of excitement-meets-nerves that hit peak levels right before she got into her dress—and yes, it made for some beautifully emotional moments.

Meanwhile across town... 14 groomsmen. One photographer. A two-bedroom apartment. Chaos? A little. Hilarious? Absolutely.

And yes, we got the shots.

Florals (Suspended in Midair, NBD)

We’ve seen a lot of floral installs, but Florist + Hound said “nah, we’re gonna float them.” And they did. Bright colors, dreamy textures, and these overhead arrangements that made the ceremony feel like an enchanted rock show. Total design flex.

If you’re dreaming up a floral moment that’s not just “pretty,” but show-stopping—Florist + Hound is your go-to.

Ceremony on the Stage

Thalia Hall isn’t just a venue—it’s a vibe. Lauren and Bradley said their vows on the same stage where rock legends have performed, under floating plants and twinkling string lights, in front of 200 of their favorite people. It was intimate, iconic, and just the right amount of dramatic (like all good love stories should be).

Timeline? Tight. Details? Flawless. Heather? A Queen.

We have to shout out Heather from Anticipation Events, who brought everything together like the rockstar planner she is. Smooth communication, flawless timeline, not a single detail missed. Everything ran so effortlessly behind the scenes because of her. If you want a wedding that feels stress-free while looking like a production masterpiece—Heather’s the one.

The Reception Wasn’t a Dance Floor... It Was a Concert

Now this? This is where things got wild.

After dinner and speeches wrapped, the curtain literally rose on the stage to reveal Louder Now, kicking off with “Welcome to the Black Parade.” Suddenly, this wedding wasn’t a wedding anymore—it was a full-on, crowd-surfing, parent-moshing, eyeliner-running concert.

We’re talking:

  • The bride and groom stage diving

  • The crowd screaming lyrics

  • Champagne flying

  • And us, shooting like we were on tour

It was absolute magic—and definitely one for the Sage & Rain history books.

Favorite Visual Moments:

  • Lauren’s Dress

  • That floral installation (still not over it)

  • Seeing guests absolutely lose it as the band took the stage

  • Documenting what felt like a real live show—at a wedding
